When should I come in?

We should meet to discuss your SAVE THE DATES about a year before your wedding date. If you’re hosting a destination wedding, plan to come in a little sooner.

For INVITATIONS, let’s meet 6–8 months before your wedding. Personally, I’d prefer to have a little spare time so no one is stressing the night before they need to go in the mail, frankly, that’s not fun for anyone.

Finally, I like to discuss DAY-OF STATIONERY (menus, seating cards, programs, etc.) 2–4 months before your date. By this time, linens and florals are usually finalized allowing us to have a clear vision of the table settings and other displays. This allows us to design all the remaining paper details in a manner that will complement the centerpieces, linens and other design elements to provide a seamless experience for you and your guests.

What is your process?

To get started, we’ll meet for a consultation. I want to hear allllll the wedding day details! Once I have a clear idea of your vision we’ll start playing with paper samples & embellishments and I’ll sketch out some ideas to get us on the right track for all your wedding stationery.

Once you officially book with F&P, you’ll receive digital proofs based on the paper vision we designed together in our appointment. You’ll have the opportunity to make changes and then once everything is perfect, your beautiful stationery will be off to the presses :)

While I wish I could help everyone with their wedding, due to the intensive, hand-crafted nature of fine stationery and design I only take a limited number of weddings per month so if we’re a perfect fit, make sure to reach out and schedule an appointment early :)

Why choose F&P?

After years of designing stationery for weddings from the Hamptons to the Netherlands, I think it’s safe to say I know a thing or two about the challenges of wedding paper…and planning in general, after all, it’s all connected, right?

Planning the details of your wedding can easily become reminiscent of a late-night second job. I’m here to make that process easier for you. Weddings are like a puzzle where you have all the pieces scattered about — your color palette, linens, flowers, random pins of inspiration, the list goes on. When it comes to your wedding paper, I’ll help you tie all the pieces together so the save the date and invitations set the perfect tone for your day and the dinner menus become a lovely (not to mention functional) addition to each place setting.

So let’s sit and chat a while, I want to hear all about your day. This way everything from your save the dates to your ceremony programs blend seamlessly with all the other wedding details, creating a cohesive look and an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.

Can I order from F&P if I live far away?

Of course! We can discuss your wedding via video conference. After our meeting, I’ll snail mail samples to you so you can see and feel the beautiful paper textures and ink colors in person. From there we’ll work via phone and email throughout the proofing process — it’s easy I promise :)

What print methods do you offer?

Foiled and Pressed specializes custom and semi-custom letterpress, foil and engraved invitations.

Do you offer envelope addressing?

Yes! Your envelopes can be addressed with digital calligraphy (using a printer and matching typefaces) or penned by hand with calligraphy.

How do I get started?

Yay! I’m so excited to work with you. If you like what you see, fill out the book a consultation form so I can start brainstorming and envisioning your day, just as you have for months (if not years). Afterward, I’ll be in touch shortly to schedule your appointment.

Committed to your happiness…

My goal is for you to fall in love with your wedding stationery. If you have any hesitations, please feel free to reach out so we can come up with a solution together.
